SLAM studios, is a brand new artist-run space on the other-side of Sydney’s fringe (Waterloo). We provide for ourselves a shop-front studio and/or gallery space with exposure straight onto South Dowling St. SLAM studios is in a position which is driver’s first point-of-contact with Sydney when coming off Southern Cross drive.
Our work as three young, emerging female artists encompasses painting, photography, sculpture and more. Kelli Trinidad is an emerging painter from Perth, Samantha Jones is a 2nd year SPI student at COFA and Lisa Tolcher is an emerging photographer from Canberra.
Over the next five months SLAM studios, prior to its opening, will be developing a website and converting the inside of a shop front into a suitable space to use as both gallery and studio.
